We kicked it off with a visit to the Blue Bell ice cream factory, together with my parents and Wendy's children, aka "the prims." Sampling different flavors we discovered our weakness for the now famous at home "Banana Split..."
Last time we took pictures of the girls with the Blue Bonnets was in 2007... so I thought it was time to get some fresh photos...
now also featuring "The Prims..."
...and my parents... all of them now living in the Houston area... The Blue Bonnet picture session was followed by a close encounter with a cow. You know how kids always want to get as close as they can to any species in the animal kingdom...
... this time, as they were posing for a close-up picture near this cow... the cow passed gas in a way that they could not miss... I was luckily able to capture their reaction to this burst of flatulence...
Once they had recovered from the "surprise," we tried to take the picture again, but a bull came running down our way, and it scared the life out of all of us, so we ran away from the fence as fast as we could... and we changed activities... the girls and their cousins enjoyed the rest of their day in this little playing area...

Loved all your adventures! How fun to spend time with family :) I loved the pic at the Blue Bell factory...reminded me of our days when we lived in College Station :)
