This year we celebrated Thanksgiving at home. Wendy and her family arrived in our house on Wednesday evening. Cooking and other preparations for the big Thursday dinner began more than 24 hours in anticipation. On Thursday morning, Gerardo and Jorge went to play tennis, and Memo and Samuel (Jorge’s brothers) joined them later in the day. In the meantime, Wendy, Aneth, and I finished the final details for the meal. The girls enjoyed playing with her cousins all day long, mostly unsupervised.... Everybody loved the food, and all of us had a great time. I am very thankful to God for my life as it is, for the family I love so much, and for good friends all around the world.
